Barefoot in the Park
April 5-7 & 12-13, 2013
by Neil Simon
Produced by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York
Paul and Corie Bratter are newlyweds in every sense of the word. He's a straight-as-an-arrow lawyer and she's a free spirit always looking for the latest kick. Their new apartment, her most recent find, is too expensive, with bad plumbing and in need of a paint job. Add a surprise from Corie's loopy mother and their neighbor-in-the-attic Velasco. Everything that can go wrong, does. Paul doesn't understand. As Corie sees it, he's too staid, too boring and she just wants him to be a little more spontaneous, running "barefoot in the park" would be a start.

A Musical Fable of Broadway
Based on a story and characters by Damon Runyon
Music & Lyrics by Frank Loesser
Book by Jo Swerling & Abe Burrows
Produced through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI)
Set in Damon Runyon's mythical New York City, this romantic comedy soars with the spirit of Broadway as it introduces us to a cast of vivid characters who have become legends: the "mission doll," out to reform the evildoers of Times Square; the slick, high-rolling gambler who woos her on a bet and ends up falling in love; the chronically ill nightclub performer whose condition is brought on by the fact she's been engaged to the same man for 14 years; and her devoted fiancé, Nathon Detroit, desperate as always to find a spot for his infamous floating crap game.
Directed by Greg & Charity Hawkins

Community Outreach during
Guys & Dolls
We are very excited to announce collaboration with the Salvation Army and Guys & Dolls to help them celebrate their 125th year in the Richmond community.
The Salvation Army exists as a catalyst to help people change their lives for the better. We at RCT would like to help “follow the fold” and partner in their great work by collecting donations of laundry soap and canned food on their behalf. Donations will be accepted in the RCT lobby during the run of Guys & Dolls. Help RCT make an impact on the community!
